You can find genius soloists on any number of instruments. I'm not sure the word feeble comes to mind when talking about a world class performer on guitar(or recorder for that matter).

John Mclaughlin's Meditation is pretty cool piano piece IMO.

I play piano and guitar, and really believe playing both instruments really helps understanding the other.

wont say one is better than the other, both have their good points.

Yes, that's what Fripp has always said, too... but my take is this: "Hook a Les Paul up to a cranked MKII Superlead with 2 4x12 1960 cabinets... bang out an open "E" chord... see if "FEEBLE" is an accurate word to describe that sound..."
(Think Michael J. Fox's bedroom amp in "Back To The Future"...)

piano is a percussion intrument, different beast.i'm torn.monk and gatton are 2 of my favorite people ever.tough call.

Yes but some guitarists do lack sarcasm and a sense of humor,Id never trade playing guitar for any insturment any day just nice to appreciate the genius of other masters besides another "Johnmayer is cute" thread ;)
