Should I feel depressed or ignore this feeling????

Don't be depressed....you have 2 more years to go for that.

Then, you'll get over it, too.

Happy Birthday! I'm 10 ahead of you.

Hey I'm 38 today too!!! But I have been 38 almost all year. :)

Most of my 30's have been great, but the looming 4-0 is weighing on me too. It's a pre-geezerish mid-life crisis thing. "What have I accomplished", "It's too late to try that now", "I should'a...." etc..

Happy Birthday! :BEER

Depressed? are you crazy???? 38 is a GREAT age! I loved being 38 (if I can remember that far back!). You're old enough to be taken seriously by everyone and young enough to not be consider OLD and wise. Enjoy every second of it.... time marches on.

Found this special wish for you (since in dog years you would be 266). Be happy you're not a doggy!

38 is a great age to be.
Unfortunately, the next day you are even older!

Wait until you turn 50 then you can complain!

Gratz on the Birthday. 38 is one of the best ages ever. You've gotten all the stupidness of your 20's completely out of you, and you're still a few years away from aching bones and unexplained rattles. You can still lie that you're 32 to pick up 26 and 27 year old chicks, and you probably have enough money to keep them interested for a sweaty weekend or two.....

The world is at your feet.

Happy Birthday...

Should I feel depressed or ignore this feeling????

I'm not sure what turning 38 has to do with feeling depressed. Sounds like you're probably depressed due to other reasons. Snap out of it and enjoy your B-day.

For those about to ROCK, we salute you!!!

Angus Young is 53 and Neil Young is 62. Last time I checked they are still very "young" and rockin it pretty good!

Enjoy your birthday...

THanks guys! I feel better now, really. I don't too old for my age, see my website photo taken last year. But damn, this year I have lost the most hair I can remember! Depressing. I am not really wanting glam hair or anything, but dang! Rogaine? Hair transplants? Or Shave it all down the road like Satch? At least, this year I lost weight through lifestyle diet changes, which is very hard if your used to snacking on whatever craving you want satiated. I am getting betting in mixing than I thought I would through trial/error and testing the patience of the womb members with my dumbass unexperienced-type questions. However, my guitar is maybe the best it has ever been, well ok, still depending on the day, but still.....

38!! Holy Cow, dude, its all over. Your done, stick you with a fork.
Please send me your gear before you "check out".

I'm 46 btw and it gets much scarier, trust me. We're on a crazy one way street..

Man! For me, my mid'30s- mid 40s were great years. When I got to be 47 or so the sound and feel of it just didn't roll off the tongue as easy as late thirties seemed to do. I'm in my late 50s now and if I could go back to any age it would be those years. Enjoy!
