I brought my mother (age75) my mother-in-law (age 85) my sister-in-law (she's hot) and my wife down for 2 weeks. I have been hauling them to every freakin' mall, strip mall, or anything that looks like a store. "Oh, that looks interesting, pull in there!"
Dropped off the sister in law to the airport last night. Her last words to me as she hugged me good by were, "Don't go back to the condo, just drive the rental car into a brick wall. End it now."
The first few days it was a struggle keeping the "I want to kill them" thoughts out of my head. Now, I just can't stop laughing at how funny they are. Neither can hear to well and their conversations get off track immediately and then neither one knows what they are talking about. My mom just asked my mother in law if she had her ear rings on yet, since they were leaving. She thought she asked her if she wanted lasagna and it went into mass confusion from there. It is non stop like this.
Taking them to restaurants is simply amazing. Takes them 30 minutes to make a decision while my wife and I help them throught the millions of mundane questions about a certain item. My Mom went on and on with these questions about their potato choices. "Mom, I didn't think you even liked potatoes? Oh, I don't, I was just curious." That in itself was 15 minutes! Why why why ........ they laugh at themselves and are just sil
ly. They crack me up and I realize they are both really happy which has completely eliminated my getting frustrated.
Pray for me, they will be back in less than an hour! I have some peace and qiet for now! Did I mention how loud they have the tv?
