Firefox Update Browsing Problem

I started up the desktop this morning and up pops an Adobe/Firefox update so I clicked on it to download and now I cannot browse the web from that computer. So I went out to my "man cave" fired up the laptop the same updates came up on the laptop but I declined them and can browse from the laptop. What gives? Anyone have a problem like this? I have satellite internet if that will help explain this problem.

Check your firewall to make sure it isn't blocking the new updated FireFox. My firewall reconfirms FireFox's access to the internet every time it updates.

I updated to the latest version of Firefox yesterday without any problems at all. What Firewall do you use?.

Just did that update literally now and it is working fine for me.

I had to call Dell to get the darn thing back on track. I had to do something in the command prompt? I dont remember exactly what he did but I had to type in ping and some other weird stuff. Anyone know what the heck he walked me through?
