Here's the deal, my 3 year old broke my new Dell Inspiron 1526 beyond repair. The power supply got jammed into the motherboard and fried it. So, it would be cheaper to just buy something else than try and get the motherboard + labor replaced (I'll already taken it apart, not for the faint of heart).
Anyway, I'm left with a good battery, 2GB of DDR RAM, an 80GB SATA drive. I guess I could even pull the processor, but I don't really need to do that.
So, anyone know of a place where I could buy a laptop a la carte because I already have the hard disk and memory on the cheap? Let me know.
