Simply Stunning. Can you humor me and tell me how much does the equipment cost to be able to do these magnificent shots?

I was just about to ask the same question!

Those photo's are as always excellent! I realize a lot of it is also skill, but his gear always seems a step above.

As always..beautiful pictures! But like guitar, while the rig is important ,whats much more important are the chops; would you agree? And you sir are a very talented photographer. I'm sure other people with the same gear wouldn't take pictures 1/2 as nice as yours.

Thank you.

I really don't know what to think, nor do I spend much time thinking about it. I just like to go out and roll around and see what happens.

With this particular set, even though it was bright sun/clouds, I went with high ISO (800) on most of them and tried varying shutter speeds and f-stops trying to get the look to match what I came up with in my head.

My camera has very high noise at ISO 800, but it gives me a certain look I like with higher contrast levels. It's maybe not a look that appeals to everyone, but I like it for certain things.

So i guess knowing the "limitations" of my gear and the willingness to get dirty and wet trying to express myself works to some degree. I nearly lost my camera on that last shot, but I got what i was looking for and I got soaking wet. :messedup

Wow, stunning!

You are seriously good!

Thanks for sharing.

And the comment above comparing photography to guitar playing is right on. The equipment doesn't matter if it's not in the right hands, and it is obviously in the right hands with you.

Excellent shots as always! Very nice - I like it how the foam engulfs and wraps itself around the wood :)
