The Police: Certifiable (Reunion Tour DVD)

Looks like The Police reunion tour finally made it to DVD. It's a Best Buy exclusive, 2 CDs and 2 DVDs for $20. I love these guys but missed the tour (too expensive for me). Have any of you seen this DVD? Comments?

I, too, was unwilling to pay the prices to see them on tour. 20 bucks is a no-brainer though!

I saw them at Fenway Park in Boston - probably the best show I've seen in terms of energy and crowd vibe. Those guys still kill better than most regardless of age and genre - thanks for the DVD tip, that will be a must buy for me : )

I watched a couple of songs while in Best Buy the other day, in one of their home theater demo setups. Pretty smokin, especially in high-def-surround!

Based on the 2 shows I saw (1 near the start, 1 the end-of- tour at MSG), I'd be more than surprised if it sucked.

I saw them this past August in Pittsburgh...amazingly tight, filled with energy and some cool new arrangements and jazz inspired jams...and Sting's voice was still powerful. I have the DVD set, but I have to wait for Christmas...it's a gift to my 9 year old son who is a huge Police fan like his dad !!!

I have their other videos (The Police Around The World, Synchronicity Concert, Outlandos to Synchronicities, Everyone Stares) and they never disappoint; I think I'll pick it up this weekend.

I saw'em in KC in May. Only waited 25 years! It really was a great show, and I WILL put that on my wishlist. Now if I can just see Steely Dan live I will be set.

I've now watched it and it's great. The song arrangements are great and Stings voice is really strong. Andy Summers has a vey unique approach to soloing which is refreshing to see. Bottom line is they still have it. The DVD/CD is worth more than $20.
