I had never heard of these cabinets until last week when someone here at TGP mentioned them. They are made in Italy by the same company that makes RCF cabinets. In addition to the Opera cabinets, which seem similar to the JBL, Mackie and RCF powered cabinets, they make a pretty full line of PA Gear. Pricing seems very good on them.

Is anyone here familiar with these cabinets, or their other gear? The RCF are generally very well thought of, so I wondered if these might also be pretty good.

Hey...why doesn't TGP have a Pro Audio section?

Hey John,

I used the Opera Live 402 with my AxeFX when I had one. I still have the speaker (although I'm probably going to sell it since it's getting no use). It's a very solid speaker. I liked it better then the JBL Eons or Mackie SRMs. I haven't compared them against the newer JBLs (PRX), Mackies (SRMV2), or QSC (HPR) that a lot of people are using these days (or the RCF for that matter), but it's less expensive then any of those (esp if you can get it used) and does the job very very well.
