I just saw him on the Hendrix tribute concert. He played with Whitmore and Eric Johnson and Johnny Lang. Good guitar player, he held his own with Johnson.

I saw him at the Hendrix concert last year. He smoked!! He is one of the most innovative players out there.

I saw him a few weeks ago on the Experience Hendrix tour (in Louisville).

It was not the best show I've seen- he was no exception. The venue was just not the best choice for a show that required some "volume", to say the least. Seemed like they were trying to keep the stage volume VERY low as a result. He did get some applause, but all in all, it was pretty lame on all fronts. I will say I was fortunate enough to see Hubert Sumlin and most especially- Mitch Mitchell (before his untimely passing). RIP Mitch!

He's still playing- he's been in and out of trouble- looks like he's got it act together, at least for now. I'd love to see him keep it that way as he is a gifted player!

He played a festival in Memphis in September (?). Due to my hangover and distaste for crowds, I didn't stick around.

Eric has been releasing an album about every 8 months with Mike Varney and Blues Bureau....The output is good in my opinion although he hasnt revisited the magic that was the album Thats what I am...Eric plays locally but dosent advertise it mostly so you gotta be in the know...His playing is stronger than ever even if he does meander a bit live with song starts and such but the biggest treat I had was being at Eugene Gales 50th birthday with Hubert Crawford on drums and the Eric so it was the original EGB and they proceded to rip the place apart...Eric has magic but still gets distracted easily and cant seem to lose some of his habits but he has big managment in LA with OBI STEINMANN last I heard and tours with the Hendrix deals alot...If you get to see him in a club then go and witness armageddon....
