In Memory Of Bob Sweet (Sweet Sound)

Today would have been Bob's birthday.

He left us in October 2008 after a short battle with cancer.

As one who always looks at "Today's Birthdays" at the bottom of the home page here on TGP........there is no celebratory shout out this year.

I don't know any of you guys more than just through posts and PM's. Most here are probably the same way. Yet we come together to discuss gear, life's troubles, funny stories, anecdotes, and the occasional recipe.

I make it a point to give a birthday shout out to folks that I only know here in cyberspace. It's not phoney......when I post !!!!Happy Birthday!!!! I mean it.

Say a prayer today for Mr. Sweet's family. Tough time of the year coming up without their patriarch.

Here's to you Bob.........you're building pedals for the angel harps I'm sure. And something tells me you're watching all of us too.

I saw his name under birthdays, clicked on it and saw that his last visit was 9-15-08 at 10:16 a.m. That really kind of got to me. My heart goes out to his family.

Bob was one of the good guys. I imagine this is a tough day for his family.

I'm glad I've got a beautiful, swirly-painted Mojo-Vibe to remember him by. He'll be sorely missed.
