i hope this thread doesnt break any of theGP rules, but considering the reality of our economy, i think this is an important subject to address. . . this is a link to peter schiff giving a speech to some of the countrys wealthiest mortgage brokers in 2006. i swear, this guy is better than madam cleo. alot of people scoff at mr schiff because of his cynical and pessimistic views, but no matter what you believe, reality is reality.

What is even more fun is to go back and watch his video archive from years ago and see the people that publicly chastised him on all the stock "talking head" programs. Watch the one where the lady economist from Detroit tells him that the auto industry couldn't be better. I think it is in the 2006 archive:

What's really interesting about him is that he puts his PAST predictions up as videos on his site so you can see what he said vs what actually happened.

I don't know another single brokerage that would have the testicular fortitude (balls)to do that.

Both - As you can see on that page each time he does an interview he puts it up. The one he just did on 11/20 is there for all to see.

So I guess he would be a ballsy glory seeker that is proven correct, eh Luke?

If nothing else, he has piqued my interest in certain foreign equities that I overlooked before.
