Aw damn, I'm ready to go for my run now!!! I really love that rhythm tone. I like how you didn't go nuts cutting glass with the highs either. Still kind of smoky.

Yeah i cut the high mids. Most people are mid crazy, I like em but like to scoop out any harshness. Sometimes guitarists are overbearing and they want so many frequencies that the vocals and hi hats etc suffer.
