very nice..would be curious to hear a higher gain setting with that amp, not that it would be in my budget anytime soon...

Thanks guys,

Zack Wylde meets Chuck Loeb? I'd rather meet Lisa:banana

Drums are http://www.betamonkeymusic.com/ no affiliation....if you know how to use Lego or play dominoes, you're all set. I actually am doing it the hard way with wav files doing one shot samples in Logic's EXS24. Using garage band or another looper makes it even easier and for the rock guys, the double bass CD's are killer (unique in sampleworld and not expensive).

There are actually more high gain Diezel clips floating around, I don't recall the exact settings but about half way on the gain, no mid scoop and the open back cab isn't typical for a Diezel clip either. One can really hear the attack and release of the amp (something one either loves or hates:YinYang ) No gates or choppy edits on the clip.

Whoa Andy!!!!!
You are da' fusion/rock man.
Those pickups sound great. What do they read in output? Hoe do they sound cleaner?

cheers
Pete

The playing is great. I dig the Deizel . Those Beta Monkey loops are terrible though .. i am not saying this to knock you . I only say it because my dad made a Country demo using them and it was the same issue,I thought it may be the way he layed them out but it sounds to be a pretty consistant Timing problem. Seems like one loop will speed up then slow down, or the kick is off from the tempo. Your timing was on top though didnt stray too much at all , seeing how the Drums were all over... Nice regardless....

Thanks guys, once again.

Pete, cleaner is on the list of things to do, they're pretty reasonable as far as DC resistance, lower than what you'd expect for tone like that...fwiw, Andreas thinks the DC resistance may not be the only way to measure a pickup's output. AFAIK, several other builders share this view but their names don't come to mind at this moment.

skinpimp, thanks for the constructive critique, I'm going to check that...I wasted a good year++ with several other loop libraries (bought at full $pop$) due to tempo/groove issues and mismatched fills/beats.

I'm thinking, instead of amp #x or guitar #y, maybe the next GAS is for a REAL house drumkit, I got the mics and pre's and have 3+ pro drummers a phone call away....The only bug is between TGP and Gearslutz, I've developed Robb Report approved gear taste.
