But I'm sitting in my living room listening to the radio and posting on line. I'm going to have to study in a little while. Not looking forward to that. Anyone else procrastinating?

I'm procrastinating going and fixing some breakfast. Other than that, there is nothing to procrastinate about.

I'm taking a follow up to the introductory data structures and algorithms class at school. I am behind on two Java programming projects with one new one due on Tuesday, and I'm TOTALLY avoiding getting started on any of it. I can see how programming can be a lot of fun, but for some reason doing these projects is just pain for me.

I've gotta go to the gym to erase the damage I did to myself yesterday.

What a full scale-all day pig I made of myself.

This is gonna hurt.

I'm not working today and wish i was. The GC running the job we are working on decided he didn't want to come in and open the site, so 100 guys stay home and don't get paid today.

We do our family dinner tonight, because one my wife's brothers has to do T-day at his inlaws. So in order to include him and his family, we have always done my wife's family on the Friday after. Yesterday, I spent all day working on a class project, and I am about 80% done with it. I intend to finish it today, at least the computer aspect of it. Then I have a ham to cook for dinner tonight. Right now, I am having coffee and procrastinating :D

We just got done stripping the smoked turkey carcass and fixing up a fresh batch of stock with it. Yesterday's batch is delicious and this will no doubt be too. Tomorrow we'll make another batch with the fresh turkey carcass - es muy yummo.

Saved. My wife came home from shopping with her mother. We are going to an ugly Christmas sweater party in a few weeks. So we are going thrift store shopping. Oh-yea.

Oh-yea.

"Oh-yea." Shopping today. What a brilliant idea.:bow:D

I think you need to perfect your procrastinating to avoid this duty.

Oh-yea, because we are going to Thrift Stores in search of ugly Christmas Sweaters. It's fun shopping.

Thrift Stores are probably not as crazy as the big retailers (though they can be), but the traffic is still there. I'd tell the wife and MIL to just pick me up something they think I'd be totally embarrassed with and stay home.

Where is your sense of adventure? Plus we are going to get some lunch. But what should we get?

I'm in the mood for Mexican today, but I have to make ham. I could cut up some habaneros over it, but the in-laws wouldn't like that I'd guess.

As for adventure, I'm 53. I had a LOT of adventure on the road in my 20s & 30s. These days, I love being home alone. ;)

As far as everyone else knows, I'm locked away working hard on a project for one of my grad school classes...
