Fill in the blank - Gibson and Fender guitars, Boutique pedals (pick one), Boutique amps, cables, pickups, et al.

If its all so great, why would anyone ever sell anything?

I'm "just wonderin"

The reasons:

1. Wife said so
2. Getting hitched, see # 1
3. Failed to meet expectations (I don't play like Yngwie even though I bought this pedal, why not?)
4. Over spent on credit card and bill came in, see # 1
5. Haven't jammed with others or played a gig in a decade, see # 1

6. Enjoy purchasing and turning gear
7. Instrument or device works exactly as it should, but seller realizes it is not for them
8. Byproduct of the G.A.S. effect
9. Space issues

It's the gear page...it's what we do.

Acquire, sample, sell, repeat.

Some stays, most doesn't.

They need money to buy something better. Or more often these days, they just need money.

These words should be chisled into a mountainside in Gearville, just outside the wedding chapel.

I always thought the stuff in the emporium was there for the sole purpose of tempting me to spend every last penny I earn on gear.

Speaking for myself..eehhmm...lol! I just love trying stuff out..99.99% of what I buy usually is really cool and sounds great but in the end..I'm usually just making everything sound the same (The Tone in my head) and so I move it along. I have fun doin it and it is an expensive habit and usually lose a few dollars here and there but...Education is priceless!!!:roll:crazyguy

I'm in the boat of not wanting to sell what I have but needing to in order to finance a move. Poop...

i thought this thread was idiotic enough
--- "interesting" spelling & syntax included ---
when it arrived on the Amp forum, the other day.

apparently, you thought it intriguing enough to copy it
(nearly wholesale) & attempt to
raise the useless-noise floor, even further.

is this original thinking?, a trite & shoddy simulation, thereof?
eek.
..... nice to know that some folks
remain so deeply focused upon locating ye olde L.C.D.
with expressions from freeze-dried &
valuistically dysfunctional grey matter,
both internally & in the social spheres.....
good luck with your thread!

just sayin'!
all in good fun!

Once again, you think the thread is idiotic, yet you post on it. Epic Fail!

yup!
sometimes, fools like me
just gotta step up & speak out.

apparently, though,
the OP, here on this thread,
was attempting to make a sarcasmical funny,
which point i completely missed.

my grandest apologies to the OP;
i'm sorry, dude!
