I take Minyanville with huge grains of salt. Among other things, much of their stuff is very poorly documented to say the least. A fun read maybe, but not very useful. YMMcertainlyV.

The USD is going down hard. Some governments can afford the luxury of bailing out their stock markets since they had balanced budgets and no debt. The US is starting with massive deficits and national debt. Does anyone actually expect this debt to be repaid with currency of equal value? I would not be suprised to see a world currency introduced to replace the current ones.

"The point is nothing really matters anymore besides currency, so watch them closely. "
Well, that is true, in the long run.
I don't understand why he calls this the 'new' stock market. It's a correction from the bubble effect of massive hedge fund speculations - much more pervasive apparently than we thought, or even now identified.

The stock market to me is no different than Vegas...whether you put your money into investments and trust others, or you take your life savings to vegas hoping to increase it enough to retire with black jack...
our economy would completely collapse if the stock market completely collapses, and its fake money...worse than fiat money...maybe we need another way to keep the money supply moving and viable...I HAVE to invest as my 401ks, ira,s have to be investments, but I dont like it...it seems like a fools game...in my opinion!

I don't understand why he calls this the 'new' stock market.
He's saying that from here on out, it will be driven much more by movements in the dollar than fundamentals (e.g. earnings).
I think that's generally true, but it's a bit more complicated than just dollar down = market up. For example, international trade means some companies benefit from a declining dollar (e.g. those that export) while some are hurt buy it (e.g. those that have to purchase inputs from overseas).
If you really want to bet on a falling dollar, buy something like gold. I've recently taken up a position in gold and silver, mostly to hedge the rest of my "investments" (all in cash and CDs right now).

hal turner is a fear-mongering scammer, and a pretty crappy on at that. hes a racist, a liar, and just an all around bad human being. this coin that he has can be bought by anyone at http://www.dc-coin.com/ . if there is a conspiracy in our midst, it wont be discovered by this idiot. hes too busy trying to create conspiracies of his own. . .
"On December 6, 2006, Turner announced on his website:
We may have to ASSASSINATE some of the people you elect on Nov. 7! This could be your LAST ELECTION CHANCE, to save this Republic... Sorry to have to be so blunt, but the country is in mortal danger from our present government and our liberty is already near dead because of this government. If you are too stupid to turn things around with your vote, there are people out here like me who are willing to turn things around with guns, force and violence. We hope our method does not become necessary.
Since the announcement was made, Turner has had difficulties finding a host for his website. He alleged that his website has been the target of denial of service attacks, and subsequently filed a pro se lawsuit.
On April 4, 2008, Turner encouraged violence against Lexington, Massachusetts school superintendent Paul Ash for establishing a new curriculum supporting gays and lesbians. On his website, he stated:
I advocate parents using FORCE AND VIOLENCE against Superintendent Paul B. Ash as a method of defending the health and safety of school children presently being endangered through his politically-correct indoctrination into deadly, disease-ridden sodomite lifestyles.
He went on to provide Ash's personal information, including his address."
this guy gets me so fired up. . .

Fair enough.
I said take it how you like.
I didn't endorse it.
It was in response to a quote about a new currency.
I could care less what he said...It was just a link and an opinion by him, not me.
I know very little about him.
If and when the US economy tanks, the competition to be #1 will result in wars breaking out across the globe. I highly doubt such will occur, but WWIII is a possibility during our life time.

I never believed any of the Amero currency stuff. If there is a new currency, I expect it to be a world wide one. And it would be introduced to stop countries like the US from trying to monetize debts.

sorry, didnt mean to seem argumentative. . .
some of my friends have sent me similar forwarded emails, so i researched him a bit. . . i just wonder how many people take this dude at face value and act accordingly. that notion is arguably scarier than the man himself.
