View Full Version : Would Thanksgiving be better if instead of turkey we had bacon?

Bones's bacon thread made me think -- I didn't have turkey this year, and that was totally okay. I can go for months without turkey, no problem. But what I'm really missing right now is a big fat BLT. Or a great bacon cheeseburger....

Wouldn't it be cool if our national holiday was all about BACON? :drool

It would be better if we had turkey bacon swiss day ! ( will be making one of these tomorrow with leftovers!!)

Although bacon IS the perfect food..I'll still take Turkey for Thanksgiving.

I'd rather have a pizza with bacon on it. I'd ask the pizzeria to leave it uncut and then the head of the household can do it in front of the family. If you really want to get traditional, make it turkey bacon. :AOK
