How do you guys tend to run your delays? What do you like about digital into analog or the opposite.

i tend to use digital delays only when i need a longer time and a tap tempo function.
so i end up running an analog delay with a shorter time first, then into the digital delay. that way when they are both on i get some "vibe" going on with the analog sound and then it will repeat nice and long thanx to the digital delays.
works for me.

im toying around with this idea in my head:
Put the Right In/Out of an Echo Park in a TB Loop, send the Left out to a 2nd Amp. Then either have a Carbon Copy before or after the TB Loop.
So Loop on would give stereo sound with 2nd amp, and loop off would be one amp, no digital delay. Use the Echo Park for swells, taps, etc, and the CC for slapback
has anyone done anything like this? Would you put the CC before or after the loop?
I'm also thinking of using more stereo pedals than just the echo park in that loop.

Boss DM-3 into a DD-2
The digital is set for long loud repeats (volume pedal or knob swells) so doesn't see much action anyway. Come to think of it the analogue pedal is used sparingly as well, but it will be on at the same time if the DD is being used.
The analogue has a thumpy attack, so I probably put it first to try to have some subtlety when both are on, but realistically it might not make that much of a difference.

I prefer to get some tone from an analog delay first, then send it into a digital delay where I can program it for maximum spatial definition, e.g.:
Roland RE-201 Space Echo -> Eventide H8000FW
or
Moog MF-104SD Super Delay -> Symetrix 606
cheers,
Ian
