I need to buy around 5,000 of the small MXR type knobs for my forthcoming pedal line (example of one of the pedals linked here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFu4BNzhF-c)).

Can anybody help me with a manufacturer's contact?

Many thanks,

Brett Kingman

Hey Brett. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed watching that video. The pedal sounds really cool. What other pedals are going to be in the line?

Hi Rick,

Firstly, I just checked out your board snaps. Great board! Similar to my own in size and functionality. I like the idea of having the Tim right up the front; and the custom color - nice one! :)

Our pedals are all dual function at this point. They're based mostly on combos of stuff that I like to use myself, so we thought we'd case them in duets to save board space and make them better value for money. In Q1 2009 we will be releasing:

OD/Vibe
Fuzz/Vibe
Trem/Phase
Comp/Boost
Fuzz/Delay

Most of the circuits are based on classics although all have been comprehensively tweaked and enhanced to our own preferences. Many of them will feature circuit switchers to change the order of the effects ie., vibe to fuzz or visa versa. I felt this was necessary to give people a choice.

The PCBs have been designed and drawn up from scratch by my mega-talented partner Craig Paine (The Doc). IMO Craig is an eccentric electronics genius and you can look forward to more great stuff from him in the future.

Once we get closer to a release, I'll advise you of the site, more clips, etc.

Cheers.

Have you checked with Davies (http://www.thegearpage.net/board/www.daviesmolding.com)? I am not certain if they make exactly what you're looking for or not, but they make a ton of knobs. They also do custom orders. For a quantity like that, you could have something custom made just for your pedals and they probably wouldn't be much more expensive either. Hope that helps!

If you want the std MXR style I would look at some of the imports from China, I have seen them both with set screw (MXR) and for split shaft (Vintage Boss). I am using the Davies Clone on some of my pedals and the quality is good, with an order of 5,000 you should be able to get a good deal.

Demo sounds good.

Davies are pricey. And can be difficult sometimes.
