Any amp builder / tinkerers out there have any books that they would suggest for someone who has built 2 or 3 amps but wants to dive into voicing an amp, overdriving, classic to high gain type of stuff. I have been wanting to take the Egnator class but money is not allowing it right now. I really appreciate your help guys!

Radiotron Designers Handbook, 4th Ed. (1953)
As many RCA tube manuals you can find
Mullard Tube Circuits for Audio Amplifiers
Books on circuit theory and basic electronics
Notice I don't recommend anything written by Pittman, Weber, or Torres et al.
Brush up on yer math :BEER
North Avenue Trade School is always an option!

I concur. Randall Aiken's site is a good place to absorb facts on tube amps though.

Study some schematics and hit the Aiken site. If you have any questions not addressed there, put them here and they'll be answered. Just don't start with, "Duh, how to toob amps wurk?", or the ever popular, "What's hz mean?". :)

In addition to Gerald Weber's book. For more advance reading get Pentode Press's series of books by Richard Kuehnel. There is a guy on Ebay from Austrialia who makes videos about building tube amps that are great. Get on the forums like 18Watt / Sloclone / Ampage / Amp garage
