I have a 71 princeton w/no reverb that might be in need of a new power transformer. Could someone please recommend me a specific model? I've been looking through mercury mags site but I have no idea as to which one is the correct one for a princeton. There about about ten different princeton ones that are all different models, and none of them say they are for a silverface. There are also several on ebay, every one of them different, and they all claim to be for princetons. I'm clueless here.

Hammond makes a replacement for that amp and also Mojotone. Both are inexpensive and work properly.
Available at Tubesandmore or Mojotone.

Just send them an email and ask! Most companies are very helpful to their prospective buyers. SF Princetons use the same PT's as the BF ones. Matt, at: http://www.musicalpowersupplies.com/4.html offers great value (and service) if price is an object. Weber also has value priced PT's. Edcor is very good, too. Fair price, great quality.

The power transformer is shown as a 125P1B on the Fender schematics...the corresponding Mercury Magnetics replacement for a 125P1B is listed as FBFPP. Hope this helps.
