Will the Replica hold up to the TF tonewise?? Is the mod delay on the timefactor really good, or will I be better of using my Carbon Copy with a Replica??

I primarily use a Replica and a Deluxe Memory Man, which some have compared to the Carbon Copy. I've never played a Timefactor, but the Replica puts out some really clean and clear delays. There's another recent thread about "The Best Digital Delay,"

The delay and modulation on the Timefactor is excellent.......

The mxr CC modulation is subtle ( even the version 2 )........

Eventide modulation can finely tuned to be as subtle or pronounced as you like.......

Beautiful lush chorus sounds are available as well...

great delay..

The Replica sounds incredibly clean and warm, works well, and the fact that you can get a little boost out of it is nice, but ultimately I found the tone a little boring. I'd bet the Timefactor would be much more fun and potentially inspiring due to the programmability.

I'm currently having way more fun with an Echo Park than I ever had with the Replica.
