Hey guys,
I've this guitar and issue for a few years now. I play a Takamine EG523SC jumbo. This issue is that the high E and B strings sit in a seperate set of saddles and the volume of those two strings are much louder than the other four strings. How can I fix this? Would puting the guitar through a compressor work to smooth things out?
Thanks

Is the problem acoustically or when plugged in? If when plugged in, what pickup are you using?

When plugged in, it's the stock pickup

You might have to take it to a tech to get the saddles filed properly

is this an alignment issue?

I totally agree with DaBlizzadofOz, it seems that that bottom of your saddles are not making the proper contact so that piezo pickups can function properly.
I had this problem and had the saddles leveled to perfection. Now its totally balanced and sounds awesome!

I've had an EG 12 and tried to adjust the height on the saddles to lower string height and can mess up the piezo. I had to get it repaired.
