I recently purchased an amp that came with the following rectifier tube: CV378 This is new to me, but my quick net search says it might be a Mullard GZ37. It has an area like this with the printed stuff on it:

Near the base is this small dark gray writing: IS1 (maybe) with : B7F1 underneath. I'll post a photo as soon as I can take one. Thanks for your help.http://www.thegearpage.net/board/images/icons/icon7.gif

It's a Mullard GZ37. The "B" stands for Blackburn, one of Mullards tube plants.

Click here for where it falls in the rectifier hierarchy scheme of things. http://www.kcanostubes.com/content/newsletter_details.asp?ArticleID=3

Thanks Mike!
The amp it came from is an early version Allen Accomplice. However, it looks to be heavily modified with Hammond trannies, extra switches, missing parts...enough to keep me out of trouble and off the streets for a while.
