On a 59 Bassman RI there are two speaker RCA jacks coming out of the bottom of the chassis that go to the speakers. Is each one of those outputs rated at 4 ohms, or 8 ohms. Each....

Im starting to sort some things out with my amp. I have each of these leads going to one speaker. So my cab is 2x12. My speakers are rated at 4 ohms.
I just want to make sure Im not screwing this thing up. I have had a problem of fuses blowing lately (2 in the last 5 months) and will send it to a tech soon.

Am I fine with this configuration?

by the way, I have been asking many quesitons lately, and apprecaite all the help. I hope Im not being too much of a pain in the backside!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't you mean 4 RCA jacks, one going to each speaker?

All those RCAs are in parallel and those are 8 Ohm speakers.

The Bassman should be a 2 Ohm output. So you could wire your speakers in parallel with one plug. That's a lot of power to go through an RCA. Better is to run two cables, one each to each 4 Ohm speaker and you should be good.

Well I guess I am safe then. There are two rca cables coming out. One to each 4 ohm speaker.
So I am good to go on this!
