Is it just me, or does anyone else think the Celtic Women are incredibly hot?
Bearing in mind the "eyes of the beholder" thing, I still think you can have your Paris and Brittany.

Dunno about any BAND named Celtic Women, but I have a well-known weakness for redheads of Irish descent. My spouse isn't a redhead because she's also part Sicilian, so she has that rich almost-black hair with Irish skin. Mmmmmm.

And after 19 years, she still hasn't killed me. Huh

i have a friend thats half irish and half sicilian and she's quite a handful at the bar once she gets a few drinks in her...oh and yes she's hott!!!!

They strike me as a new age version of the Lawrence Welk show cast, but without the sincerity.

Wow, what an interesting band, never paid any attention to them. The vids were very cool and the unplugged arrangements translated wonderfully. (Sampled several.)

...But then I pulled 'em up on Rhapsody. Yikes. Mostly over-produced pop arrangements, comletely forgettable. It's like Hollywood gutted anything evocative leaving only the sugarcoat. Kinda like they were deliberately watered down, maybe so they wouldn't compete with the producer's name-brand acts. Who knows? Anyway, ick.

What makes this esp interesting is that I ran across Sarah McLachlan the same way--first saw her with Carlos Santana on the Supernatural DVD, and the heart and soul that the performance projected was breathtaking. But the studio version...dumbed down, drowned in saturation-air-play banality, again utterly forgettable.

Fosse-natin'. Guess maybe sometimes you're luckier if you don't land a recording contract.

Seems like saying, hey aren't those supermodels hot? It's not a real group, is it? I would guess that they all auditioned to be in it. The Corrs and Clannad are family based groups....therefore 'real' bands in my mind. (I also like Maddy Prior.)
