The "older" lady down the street died.
This Saturday is the estate auction.
I have inspected the car it is MINT condition with leather interior/V6 /spoiler and all the goods.
One owner and litterally driven on Sundays only.
Looks like original tires(not checking).
I have a friend who has 313K on his 95 and still runs as new, without a rebuild.
I really want this car as my main driver other than "the tank"(2001 EB Expedition at 12 MPG).
The Tank also has 130K on it.
The Camry looks perfect.
How high would you go on a bid(it will be an auction)????
Thanks,
Don
Any input is appreciated.

AutoTrader.com/NADA says $6,900 if clean trade in, $8,500 clean retail. Sounds like a nice car. Good luck

Sounds like a super nice car. My dad had a Camery when he died.
Like a fool, I let my sister have it as part of her share!

Good luck Don....hope you get it!

You should really reconsider.

The Big 3 could really use your dollars to help their bottom line. It may make the difference if they stay in business......or fold.

Don, I'm begging you...:bow

j/k

Buy the Toyota......if you don't get 300K miles out of without putting a wrench on it I'd be surprised.

for some reason i thought that was high too the car is still 12 years old i think 35-4500.00 is more realistic

Easy. You should bid $100 more than the next-to-last bidder. You know, going once, going twice.........

The '90's XLE's are great cars.
Good luck!

I have tried this before.
At estate auctions when advertised(local paper) they won't/can't:mad:
I really would like the car, but anything over 4500- would be a stretch.(in my mind.lol)

The funny thing is, I doubt my Expedition is worth what this car may go for.

With the low K's that will bring some extra interest as these cars are very hard to find used and even harder in cherry condition like this one . I would be prepared for as high as $6-$6500 and I would consider it a good investment at that but because of the economy it will probably go for less depending on how many show at the auction seriously interested in it .

Good luck :)

I've got a 96 with 158000 miles on it.

So, since it's long paid for I get $350.00 month return on my investment.:BEER

My buddy at work has 3 of them and all have over 200K on them.:drool

If yours lasts like mine it will run great for at least 12 years and your initial investment is 6500? Sounds pretty good to me!:dude

Good luck!
