I assume that the school environment isn't too different over in the States and the show seems relevant?

Yep!

I remember watching the earlier episodes and not being all that impressed (think the characters were still finding their feet and it was a bit out of touch in its humour). Then Chris Lilley kept getting a swag of media attention over here, so I made a point of giving it another go. Got back to watching some of the later episodes and almost fell of my chair, hilarious, far more spot on - literally took me back to the Govt schooling down here in sunny Bunbury!!

Well worth a look! (Pray they don't make the ubiquitous northern-hemisphere adaptation ;)).
