I need 4 to put my '73 Marshall back to stock.
2 .02 (coupling caps)
1 .10 (presence)
1 500pf (bright cap)
Any one got any? Any leads?
Thanks!
Jack

I'm selling off a load of good, used Mustards on the 'bay at the moment. Take a look - http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/afbr242

Jack, FYI the 500pf bright cap wouldn't have been a mustard, but most likely a ceramic disk or a mica.

Oh, by the way, I and many others have had good dealings with Sparky over at the Metro forums:

the 500pf would have been ceramic disk

I saw the Sparky thread, but I can't get any contact info, and I can't join that forum..."not accepting new members" type of deal.
Anyone know what I need to make this 100% stock??? And where to get these things/contact info.
Thanks.

Jack, I'm pretty sure registration at the Metro forums was opened back up a couple months ago after they moved the site to a new server.
I can send you Sparky's email address if you want it. Let me know.
And George at Metro has the input jacks you need in the store:

That's great news. When I first started down this Marshall path I tried to join up and was nixed. Glad to see it's opened up.
As for getting the contact info for sparky...fire when ready!

those two .022uf caps are very important for the tone. .018uf caps will work just fine in that position, they will reduce the low bass a tad, but its so little that I doubt that anyone can hear it.
the .1uf presence cap isn't that crucial. a .1uf sozo would work great
what's the 7xuf 350v caps?!
