Love the guitar player as well, such great taste and restraint: classy to say the least.
Some people on here claim that there isn't great music being played today...lol This girl is in her mid 20's and she rocks a B3, a wurli and a flying V. fantastic voice and decent chops no matter how you look at it.

Tracks 10-14 (12-14 being super soulful and tasty) are some great, yes great examples of pure rock n roll IMO. 16 is great as well.

Three times I have missed her live due to being out of town. My wife went and said it was amazing.
I love her stuff though. Got two of her albums.

I saw her and the Nocturals this past April in a smallish club (about 400 people)..GREAT SHOW...they blew me away. Final encore "Sweet Emotion"..it was total rawk ! She has a wonderfully powerful and emotional voice, the band is tight...oh, and she's very easy on the eyes.

I just bought a cd/dvd set and ordered the other cd. Great stuff. If you like her, check out Beth Hart.

I have and she is good too.
Her albums (potter's) really don't do it for me like the live stuff. The band just really brings it live and they really are great performers. They also don't seem to rock out as much with extended solos etc... on their albums which is a huge part of why I like them. Their albums are too 'nice' sounding to me. (I tend to prefer live music to studio music anyway)

Yeah, I caught Grace and her band opening for Gov't Mule. They were pretty great... in addition to a great set in general, one of the coolest parts was when the whole band played the drum kit together. Why didn't I think of that???
I'd like to see them get a huge radio hit.

Yeah, I saw them opening up for Gov't Mule last year. I agree with whoever said the records really don't do them justice. They are one of those bands where they have not yet been able to capture their live energy in the studio. I thought they were really good live.

Grace is amazing. Her guitarist is also really great. I've seen him use a Tele through a Deluxe and it sounds great.

he really likes the tele. He also plays a few others now including a really sweet LP.
I'm prettu sure it's a silverface super reverb.
I saw them open for Gov't Mule back in 2007 as well. Some great songs and great stage presence from Grace. She came out and covered "Take Me To the River" with Mule to close the first set. It was great. I really enjoyed their performance.

I've seen her open for Mule and the Crowes - great performances both. Love her energy live!
A bass player friend of mine came back from the Jammys show last year raving about her. Here's video of one of the tunes they did.

Saw her open for the Crowes. Fantastic. I think she played her V through a silverface twin. Her guitarist had a boat load of pedals and played various guitars through a Super Reverb - black face I believe.

Like other folks here, I saw the Nocturnals open for the Crowes. Crowd cheered when she pulled out the Flying V. I seem to remember her guitarist playing a black ES-335 for some slide work. All in all a great performance - I'd recommend.

Damn! That was phenomenal! She's hot as hell and Satriani's a badass. Too bad the freakin' trumpet wouldn't shut up. It would've been cooler if he and Satch could've traded off back and forth.
