Hey All,

Its been ages since my last post here....hope you've been well! My nephew is very interested in learning to play....he's got a guitar that he messes around on, but really needs to take beginner lessons. He's just about 14 and hasn't found his niche in sports, etc.....but music has stirred something in him. I want to perpetuate that...

In the last 5 years I've been working with 2 incredible bass players, Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey. At the camps we do, we have special guests besides bass players doing clinics, master classes, lectures, concerts, etc....Jimmy Herring, Mike Stern, Chris Duarte, Frank Gambale, etc...

Anyways....I know that not all monster players are GREAT teachers, too. Does anyone know a GREAT teacher in the Scottsdale, AZ area that would be recommended??? TIA

Aloha, Garey

Hi Garey, I sent you a pm but here is a link to a thread I made a while ago. There were a couple of suggestions there for Scottsdale. You could pm those folks or bump the thread for new info :)
