I've never seen any mention of the very funny jabs that Greg Howe has at GAS types on his Sound Proof album.
Has no one heard these or am I the only one who laughs hard at them?
Here's the first 30 seconds of one of the tracks - it gets a lot funnier later on but it gives you the idea:

Yeah, I thought they were pretty funny. I love the resounding "click!" at the end of each of them.

LOL I love those, especially the one where the guy is like "Ya know what Greg, I'm hearin' a lotta things, most of which are notes, it's a lotta nonsense."
It really just shows how ridiculous some of the people on places like TGP can get.

Ok so what is really funny is "Brad Cordelee", is a character named after a great vegas blues singer i play with, brad cordle, he and mike varney are old and dear friends. The really funny part is Brad always laughs at my GAS and that i show up to gigs with a different amp or pedalboard every time, and he knows very little about gear, but he is a sweet nutty guy. we all laughed our asses off when we heard those tracks!

They are very funny! The first time I heard it, I def laughed out loud. Loved the way he describes the Tube Screamer sound...

i like that whole "you know i consider myself a Connoisseur of tone, and i'm trying to find that tone in my head, you know the whole modified Tube Screamer song, the whole warm comforting cozy by the fire tone. The comfort tone"

I cant wait to watch greg tear it up at Tone Merchants on friday night. Best part of all is I get to watch him and his band rehearse all week at the shop before the show.
