I love all 3, but because pedals are the easiest/least expensive to obtain they tend to be the most gas-inducing

Guitars make me 'want' the most, then amps, but as they are expensive, I have to be satisfied with buying and selling and trying pedals.

Yeah, I'm totally not rich enough to own a beelion guitars and amps. Plus it takes me a while to get emotionally connected to a guitar, I don't like having to restart my relationships over and over again.

I'm pretty burned out on pedals to be honest. I've got all the ones that I really love, and I'm really good on amps as well. There's one guitar, maybe two that I'd like to pick up this next year though.

I choose my guitars, pickups and pedals based on how they make my amp sound.


If my house was on fire I'd grab my amp before my guitar... and my guitar cost more.

Im a vintage guitar/amp head. I can't afford most vintage guitars, so I gaga over them, and then meet my gas by buying amps.

Pedals are a distant third.

Pedalfreak.....for 31 yrs and counting. But sometimes I switch to guitars. And then sometimes I switch to amps. And then I switch back to pedals. I'm a little obsesive......but orderly....very orderly.

Amps sound much the same once they are in the decent category and I set them to my norms, pedals just expand the tonal repertoire.

I can't seem to stop going through pedals, I'm starting to strip down my rig and go with a more simple, "what I need" kind of a setup. It's alot easier not having to lug a massive pedalboard around, the pedaltrain 2 is the best size for me!

Im a pedalhead. I really couldnt care less about guitars. I mean my pedalboard costs about the same as the two out of three guitars i have (mij jag and epiphone casino)!! I do like amps but im a bedroom player and big amps just won't cut it (i use vox ac15cc1). I am gassing a new amp though ... Somehow the vox sounds really shrill with my jag (dunno if its the guitar or the amps) ... The twang on it makes my ears bleeeeed
