I absolutely love your clip of that song and I've wanted to get more of that style of music in my collection. Do you have any recommended CD's of that hot jazzy funk for me?

Thanks, glad you liked it. I learned that tune from a friend in the late 70's and never had a recording of it.
I know that Jaco used to play it and I think it was written by Pee Wee Ellis.
I'm sure that someone here could be of help, let's put the word out.

search the chicken, cold duck time, red baron, scofield, george duke, chick corea, dave weckl, david sanborn etc etc on youtube.

Then you'll know what you want to go and buy.

I thought that you where referring to that specific tune.
But if it's the style that you're looking for,
Scofield's "A Go Go" might be a good start.

Well, I did check out a version from the Nils Lundgren Funk Unit and that was pretty fun. But yes, the style/genre is what I'm interested in.

I'll check out Scofield and will welcome any others too!

Yeah-I did catch that one-pretty nice stuff. I looked around and saw some other clips about Jaco-I knew he was awesome and legendary-was a bit suprised by his personality. Very cool.

Do you have any CD's that could get me some of this style of music?
