Replacing the DC input on an EHX Micro POG

EHX uses the 2.5mm, center positive DC plug - whereas the standard BOSS input is 2.1mm, center negative. I'd like to have all my pedals accept the same type of DC plug (call me obsessive-compulsive if you like :D), so I'm thinking about replacing the input and reversing the polarity. Can I do this without fear of damaging my pedal? Or is there actually some reason for using positive center instead of negative?

The Micro POG has a center negative jack, and according to the manual it will work with Boss-style adapters.

The Micro POG already uses a center neg 2.1mm jack. I have mine hooked up like everything else.

Thanks guys, I have one on its way from TGP'er williamh, and just assumed it had the same input as the HOG. One problem less, great! :AOK
