Picked one up today and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works, and is very quiet as well, no added noise. I literally plugged the unit into each of my pedals (that have batteries in them) to hear if the one-spot added any extra noise vs the batteries....what a pleasant surprise, no change!

I've always used the voodoo labs units which are very nice, this unit is a steal at $30.

I've used one for a few years and love it. If it suits your needs it's a great deal!

I bought a One Spot adapter a few months back, and it was noisy. I tried it one night at a rehearsal with a few pedals, and I couldn't believe all the noise I got with it. Then I plugged all my pedals into an old Pedal Power I, and it was quiet as a mouse.

Maybe I got a lemon with the One Spot? I took it back to GC for a refund.

Never had an issue with one. I currently own three of them and they are all excellent regardless how many pedals are hooked up.
They probably aren't the most organized looking power supply one could buy but for the money, they would be hard to beat

I have NEVER had a problem with mine. I have been using the 1-spot for years.

make sure you tape off the ends you aren't using.

With some pedals, they cause noise for anything else on the power circuit unless the outputs are isolated - they are on the voodoo labs (hence the cost), they aren't on the one-spot (hence the low price). There are certain pedals that the owners manual says will cause noise and should be used with a single one spot.

i picked one up a couple moths ago and am extremely happy. i didn't have the cash for a pp2, so i thought i'd use this til i could get enough money, but now i don't plan on changing. i even use an extra daisy chain to power additional pedals (nine pedals total)

I have an original version 1-Spot with the old thin daisy chains and it's quiet as a mouse. Been working without any problems for years. I need to upgrade one of these days!

I use on my board and I don't feel like I'll ever have to upgrade to PP2+ or Trex fuel tank JR or the like. It does what it needs to do, and does it fanfriggintastically. No noise, will power Germ fuzzes with the CYR reverse polarity plug, and all sorts of other crap that I'll probably never have to deal with. + the 90 degree plugs are a damn godsend.

I used to tape off the plugs I don't use but even without any tape, still no noise issues or shorting problems and that fun stuff. Not like my bandmates Godlyke powerall.
