Check this cool 80's USA Schecter; one-piece ash Strat body, lefty Tele neck, two Monster Tone pickups and one Barden, and mixed matched Schecter hardware. I owned this several years back and sold it locally about 3-4 years ago. A friend gave me a heads up that it was on Ebay and he thought it was mine. Sure enough, only about an hour from me. How did I miss it? Well, the Ebay auction title was "Cool guitar w/case". On top of that, the seller didn't post pics til the day before the auction ended, and they weren't that good of pics. So selling price...$214.77 with hardshell case!! The seller even tried to give me back 5.00 for lunch! So killer deals do still pop up. I had forgotten how cool this guitar was. It is a keeper now!!

Cool guitar-kinda like an old school Joe Perry Strat.

Very nice!
I never really "got" these guitars until too late, sort of.
Back in the late 80s I ended up with a beautiful (too pretty for me) Charvel Strat body w/no-label satin-finished Schecter Strat neck. Don't remember the p/ups, etc, but that guitar was SO fine -played like a dream, was obviously top-shelf quality. I traded it for a wood splitter not long after, never looked back, except to recall what great quality the wood and workmanship was on both pieces (body/neck). My buddy has had the guitar lo these many years and still adores it.

Great story you got yours back - a one of a kind!

Are these under-hyped boutique guitars? Methinks so.

 *sniff* now that is a heart warming story to end the year! Very, very cool guitar! Glad fate put it back in your hands... and at such a great price!

Was this from when Tom Anderson was still at Schecter?

Don't cry monkey, I think its a little past the Anderson era...unless I put it up for sale, then YES, of course!! Do I hear 217.00?! Wood Splitter?
