I just converted my old Supro to a 3 prong plug, it works but now there's some added hum and a little buzz which gets worse as the volume increases, it does NOT do that with the 2 prong cord.
I can't take a pic at the moment but I connected the black wire to the fuse which was where one of the wires from the 2 prong plug connected to. The other wire from the 2 prong went to the switch so I wired the white wire from the 3 prong to the same lug on the switch. The green wire of course went to ground, I connected it to one of the bolts, the connection is good. The death cap was also removed. What did I do wrong?
