Jensen 12PQ RI distortion

I've had a Mission Amps 5E3 for a few years. I put in a Jensen 12PQ RI, and I like the tone, but I notice some distortion hash that kinda sounds like radio static when it's pushed.

I always chalked this up to my newbie wiring skills, or an electronic issue, so I just lived with it.

However, I put the same speaker in my Victoria Double Deluxe, and I've noticed a similar problem. It could be speaker related, or just coincidence, I don't know.

I know I can probably do a speaker switch to answer the question, but I actually like the tone, and want a little speaker breakup, but I'd like to know if anyone else had this problem.

The exact same speaker or another one the same model?If it's the same speaker you used in both amps and it has some noises that you think shouldn't be there,you may have a bad voise coil in the speaker.If it's two separate speakers,it may be just the breakup characteristics tht you don't like.I doubt two speakers have the exact same problem.
