I usually keep old speaker cone around in case I need a piece to repair misfortunes. I decided to check a couple of glues I had around the house. I have some glue I bought from Parts Express that works well for attaching dust caps and repairing the surround. Dries clears and remains flexible. Still Im curious as to whats available locally. I triede Elmers and this craft fabric glue on a sample and let them dry overnight. Both are white when wet. I was surprized how similar the craft fabric glue is to the PE glue I have. Looks just like surround doping. Dries shiny and flexible. From what Ive gathered i'd probably use a light amount of Elmers white for the cone area repairs and definately use a craft fabric glue for the surround or dust cap. Heres a couple of pics. Bob
