Hi I'm New Here

Hello....I'm new to this site. My name is Sonia. I play bass and sing in my band Sonia & The Situation. I do lots of jam sessions in and around the Los Angeles Area. They're open jams where all musicians are welcome to come out and play. Since I'm new here, I'm still trying to figure out a few things on the site. For example, how do you add a pic to your profile? Any advice? Also I was referred to this site by someone I met at a jam session I went to on Sunday. They took some pics at the jam and said they would post them on the gear page? I tried doing a search and didn't come up with anything? Has anyone seen any posts/pics from The Imperial Strip Bar in La Mirada, CA. If so, let me know:dude

How Do I Upload or Put Pictures in my Posts?We do not allow anyone to upload to the Forum; but you can link to remotely hosted pictures. We recommend a free picture hosting service such as www.photobucket.com. It is free, fast and easy. You upload your photos there, copy the [img] code they generate under your uploaded photo and copy it into your post. Your picture now appears in your post.

If you do not have an account at an image hosting service but you have your image(s) on a server somewhere else, You can place a link to that image and have it appear in your post by clicking on the icon that looks like a yellow square with a mountain in it (at the top of your "reply to thread" box). Simply paste the url into that box.


other than that you have to be a supporting member to have a pic for avatar
