How could you not like Motorhead?

I too caught Motorhead this past summer, and it was a whole lot of fun. I did make one interesting observation, having seen them with three other BIG bands. Testament opened, and sounded great. Motorhead was next, and sounded slightly less than great. Heaven & Hell sounded great. Then Priest sounded amazing!!! Out of the four bands, Motorhead was the only one that actually had guitar amps on the stage. Yeah, the usual 18 million Marshall stacks. Anyone who saw that Metal Masters tour make this observation? Perhaps it was just this venue, and this night? I just found it strange that the only band that didn't have amps back stage sounded the worst.

That huge Marshall backline has gotta be a integral visual part of Motorhead's stage presence... I'd bet that they'd still have 'em there even if they were actually playing thru Fender Twins hidden behind 'em... :)
