While I don't particularly care for Yahtzee Maltomealstein, I actually thought that was pretty good.

A few sections worked; many others didn't.

Last time I saw Ywngie, he was on the G3 tour. During his set he played and sang a ripping blues tune. It was the best tune he did all night.

Yngwie can play slow hand and melodic just like any of the greats when he wants

People like to slag him because the idea of actually practicing picking technique is overwhelming for some

Wow ... that clip was just not my thing. I disliked everything about it, and feel dirty after viewing it. :messedup

I much prefer him overplaying on this cover:

I like Yngwie, always have. I know it's is schtick and all but I could without the shredding bullsh** ALL THE TIME. A few well placed note go a long way in the blues, as we all know. That said, I thought his tone was great and he has a decent voice IMO. "Well now, that sucks but I still got my guitar" is kinda laughable.

I'm pretty sure that it's not petty jealousy that is causing folks to have an adverse reaction to his interpretation of the song.
