Midi cables...need some help

Where can I get midi cables that have a very short head? The heads on my current ones are too large, I need ones that are smaller.

I think Hosa makes some right angle ones that are pretty small.

Too big. Any way to decrease the size of the plug by say 1/4 inch?

the right angle ones go up and down though, so they stick up in the air and make it hard to step over pedals.... just saying....

I will need a picture of this to understand. I just need to connect my two voodoo lab pedal switchers. The standard style midi cable is too long, and it prevents me from putting my fuzz on the board. I need about 1/4" more room.
