roland micro cube into a valve jr?

Is it possible to use my micro cube as an effects unit without blowing my amp? (ie record/phones out to amp input) Just kinda wanted some cheap thrills as I am not a really big effects user.

why I just found out I had an multi fx unit/pedal thingy sitting here all along in the form of the microcube. It works and is kinda neat to dink around with.

Thanks for this info. I just got my first tube amp and had been wondering about that trick. I also have a Micro Cube as well as a Line 6 Spider III SS amp with multiple effects. I read this just after I ordered a Humphrey Audio Mods Modded Digitech Bad Monkey. Doh!
