That's the progression for the sheet music for the song. It just doesn't sound the same as what George is doing.

Those ARE the basic chords, but there are passing chords added to the riff (in the verse, but not in the chorus, I don't think):

|G / / / |G C G / |

On the C, you get an F chord in the same place:

|C / / / |C F C / |
