What is it? It would be nice if it had true bypass.

You'll hear a lot of Dano suggestions...

I like the Mojo Hand Luna Vibe. Not super expensive.

Best for the buck? Chicken Salad or Cool Cat Vibe.

Isn't the Voodoo Labs Micro Vibe considered the best bang for the buck? I don't have one, just I've constantly read about it as such. I've been through a Luna Viba and Ultra Vibe (original) and really ... from the clips I've heard the Micro sounds just fine.

I like the sound of the mofaux vibe... but is not available. Cool Cat sounded tinny to me. Can the mofaux modulate really slow?

Yes. I like it better than the DejaVibe.

Bob Sweet's wife from Sweet Sounds has revived the company and I believe they are back in the swing of things selling their pedals again. I'm pretty sure that at this point, if you order directly from the manufacturer you can get your hands on their products, just not through sellers like Analogman, PGS yet.

Yup, Barbara just sent me mine within the past 10 days or so. I love it. It was a very quick turnaround from order to delivery too.

Great pedal.

Can be ordered from here: http://www.sweetsound.com/mofauxvibe.htm

FYI: My casing is white unlike the one in the photo here.

That's great news...he passed away so young...I'm glad his wife is continuing the business...long live the Sweet Sound!

On the Mofaux... is it true bypass?

How does it handle distortion/volume boost... no overload?

The Luna also sounds great wish it did not have the pedal control and was lower cost.

I can't imagine having a vibe without exp pedal jacks, and the Luna is a steal for the price. Is it real estate you are concerned about?

The Mofaux is nice but it doesn't do a "full on" warble like the full on vibes. Bob used to say as much in his description. It IS however, great for subtle, shimmery, trippy stuff. If vibe isn't something you use a lot, you will be fine with it.

The Dano Chicken Salad is great but needs a rehouse; I a/b'd it with my Sweetsound Mega Vibe and it was stupid considering the Mega was literlay 10 times the price. Like another poster mentioned, I found the Cool Cat Vibe "metallic" sounding and chorusy (I was, however, playing through a so so amp).

I've never played the Voodoo Labs or Mojo vibe but may check them out someday.

After owning a few boutique Vibes I settled on a MM4. Does Vibe, flange, rotary Leslie, and tremolo at the push of the button and takes up less room than four pedals.

but it's main feature is authenticity, so it doesn't do a lot of the over the top extremes that newer ones do.

The Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe and the Sweetsound Mojo Vibe have expression jacks.

My vote goes to Microvibe as long as you don't care about the tremolo mode... ;)

It is true bypass & I've had no problem using it in front of a Timmy & Cusack Screamer.

The Micro Vibe is not true bypass. I can hear mine making the noise my gear generates throb even when it is off.

I'll have the new Fulltone MDV-2 in march. It'll probably replace my Micro Vibe.

+1 on the nebula, such a great pedal! seems to be between a phaser and a vibe pedal, isn't it?

yes....a bit more subtle than most vibes, but my favorite "economy" vibe sound, along with bob sweet's mofaux :)

Bang for the buck to me does not mean least expensive/compromise. That said I would vote for the Foxrox Aquavibe. At $289 it is probably the most authentic and Versatile sounding Vibe on the Market..
As far as a Low Dollar Vibe simulator pedal goes it would be between the MoFaux, Microvibe, and MXR Block Logo Phase 45.IMO

That's what I like in the Neb, it's subtle and very musical... just fits my taste like a glove, it can do all the vibe sound I appreciate. :AOK

Thanks for the input... my listening so far is just youtube but the Luna Vibe per JAZ and others sounds excellent. I was also surprised at how much I liked the nebula sound... its called a phaser quasi-vibe but wow and a small package (could be a winner). Mofaux sounds good also. Tough choices...
