You've gotta love the hair and those classy mustaches! Kansas rocks! Thought provoking lyrics, gobs of compositional and technical talent, and some of the best melodies I've heard. Listen to The Pinnacle, and tell me that they can't write!

Listen to The Pinnacle, and tell me that they can't write!Kansas was the first band I ever saw in concert that actually sounded as good live as their studio work. No disrespect intended to any of the band members, but I think you'll find Kerry Livgren wrote most of their material when he was in the band, either alone or in collaboration with Steve Walsh. The Pinnacle is a Livgren tune from the third Kansas album, The Masque.
