I've tried the contact cleaner and a retension but still have a bad pin in one of my sockets. So I guess my next step would be to replace the socket...
And actually if I replace one, I might as well do all three.

Do I go with a regular 9-pin ceramic socket with shield ?

Also, these sockets are riveted to the chassis.....do you just drill out the rivets and remove them. I'm guessing the replacements would be "bolt-on" style..

any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

looks like a question for the "Amp Technical Info" forum ;)

You should mention what amp you're talking about!

You need to measure the spacing between the rivets, and the diameter of the hole in the chassis to get a socket that fits.

Is the particular amp model still a secret?

sorry...LOL! no, it's just an '85 JCM800. 3 preamp tube sockets that, aside from being riveted in, seem otherwise easy to replace. and really it's just a couple of pins that are giving me trouble, but enough to cause the amp to cut in and out when contact is disrupted at louder playing that causes more vibration.
