I wanted to create a new thread for this, rather than post on another thread, because I want people to know about Chuck's Mode Backtrax.
For those of you who are familiar with the modes, Chuck's Mode Backtrax are an extremely useful tool to help you get more used to playing them.
All the BT's are in the key of A. So you would play the Ionian in A, Dorian in A, etc - which I think is really smart of Chuck to do in order to keep it simple.
There is a BT for each mode - Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, etc., so you can spend time focusing in on each mode to really get it into your head.
Each BT has a different chord for the specific mode you are to play.
Even if you know the modes, these are great BT's to jam to, which is why I got them.
And if you don't know the modes, I strongly recommend taking lessons from Chuck.
